NWS is tracking the ongoing severe weather outbreak across the central and southern Plains. The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting the outbreak to continue through tonight and has issued a high risk for severe thunderstorms for parts of southeastern Kansas, Oklahoma and northern Texas. There is a moderate risk of severe thunderstorms surrounding the high risk area from north Texas into central Kansas.
