…Stormy Week Underway for the West…

A series of disturbances moving out of the Gulf of Alaska over the next several days will bring much colder and wetter weather conditions across a large area of the western U.S. The strongest and coldest system will move into southern Oregon and northern California late Tuesday and Wednesday.

The first significant snow of the season is possible Wednesday over the mountains of California. Snow is also possible Wednesday for parts of Nevada and Utah.
